Black and white, Dottie, is a shy, 11-year-old cat looking for a quiet home to call her own. According to the Lowell Humane Society’s Volunteer Coordinator, Erin Milligan, Dottie’s potential adopters will need a good relationship with their veterinarian. “She has asthma,” Milligan explained. “Because of that, she is on medication every other day for it. She does need to lose some weight as well. We have her on her own special weight loss plan to slim her down.”

Despite her medical conditions, Dottie is considered playful and active. “She loves to cuddle and get attention; be pet,” says Milligan. “She loves her ball toys, her wand toys…she loves to come up and greet visitors. She really loves to be your household greeter.”

Dottie is available now for adoption at the lowellhumanesociety.org.
