The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office and Acton Police are currently investigating a serious crash that occurred yesterday, Aug. 1 at approximately 1:45 p.m. on Route 2A in the area of Route 27 in Acton.
The preliminary investigation suggests that a pedestrian, a woman in her 50’s, was struck by a Toyota Prius traveling westbound. The woman was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver remained on scene.
This is an ongoing investigation.
