What’s Happening at the J.V. Fletcher Library

The Friends of the J. V. Library, Inc. June Book Sale is on the horizon: Friday, June 7, Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9.  A Friends Members Only Sale will be held on Friday evening from 6:30 to 9 p.m.  A Friends membership (which may be purchased at the door) is necessary for attending the Members Only Sale.  The entire public is invited to the all day Saturday sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and to the Sunday half-price extravaganza sale from 2 to 4 p.m. The June Book Sale offers the perfect opportunity to stock up on vacation and summer reading. In Observance of Memorial Day the Library will be closed on Saturday, May 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday, May 27, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Library will reopen on Tuesday, May 29 at 10 a.m.

Official launch of the library 2019 StoryWalk at the Westford Community Garden:  Tuesday, May 21 at 10:30 a.m. Help us hop, skip, walk, jump, and run to each page of our book Luke and the Little Seed, by Giuliano Ferri at the Westford Community Garden located at 44 Graniteville Road. After we read around the perimeter of the garden, the children will plant a seed to take home with them. Continue Reading →
