BBQ Festival This Weekend at the East Boston Camps!

From Nabnasset to Forge Village, here are your Five Things for Sept. 26, 2014.

#1. Learn About Final Cut X Pro: Get to know the basics of video editing on state-of-the-art computers, adding footage, titles, audio and more.

The class is on Oct. 28 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Westford CAT’s studios at 487 Groton Rd.

#2. Go Antiquing at the Roudenbush!: The Antique “Roudy” Show is coming soon. This antique appraisal fair and sale will take place on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

It’s $15 to sell an item, with a $30 maximum if you submit three items. It will cost $5 to get in.

#3. Sustainable Westford has been awarded…. a New England Grassroots Environment Fund challenge grant of $1,000 for the Tap WA-ter Initiative. More information on the initiative is available on the Sustainable Westford website under Tap WA-ter

#4. The Friends of the J.V. Fletcher Library Inc….will be holding a book sale on

Saturday, October 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, October 19 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be a preview sale for Friends members only on Friday, October 17 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Memberships will be available at the door.

The sale will include over 7,500 books plus CDs, cassettes, LPs/vinyl, audio books, DVDs and videos.  Regular prices are 50 cents and up for paperbacks and $1 and up for hardcover books.

#5. This Weekend at the East Boston Camps… it’s the annual Fall BBQ Festival!(pictured). More information is available on the Friends of the EBC website.
