From Nabnasset to Forge Village, here are Westford’s Five Things for Sept. 18, 2014.
#1. Help Team Dunn: There will be a giant rollerskating party at Roller Kingdom in Tyngsboro on Sunday, Sept. 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. for Westford resident Mike Dunn, who was diagnosed with a brain tumors in May of 2012.
Admission is $10.
#2. Expect Paving on Littleton Road… the new traffic lanes near Minot’s Corner will be paved, with paving continuing until Friday.
Traffic lanes will shift, with utility trenches being filled throughout most of October.
#3. Word of Encouragement from the Lowell Assembly of God…

#4. Today’s Grey Ghosts Varsity Games:
The boys’ golf team will take on Acton-Boxborough at 3:30 p.m. at the Nab Lake Country Club, and the field hockey team will travel to Acton-Boxborough for a 3:45 p.m. contest
#5. Pictured: The town recently received new vans for the Council on Aging from the Lowell Regional Transit Authority.
The new vans were mentioned near the end of Tuesday’s Board of Selectmen meeting.
