From Nabnasset to Forge Village, here are your Five Things for Oct. 17 in Westford.
#1. Head to the Skinny School… on Friday, Oct. 24 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for their Haunted House Open House! There’s free treats for the kids, a costume contest and much more. #2. The Antique “Roudy” Show… expected for Nov. 1 at the Roudenbush Community Center has been cancelled and is expected to be rescheduled in the spring.
#3. It’s Been A Year… since the Rangoli Grill opened and they’re celebrating. There’s a anniversary event on Friday, Oct. 17 from 3 to 5 p.m. featuring the Middlesex West and Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce.
#4. The Fame Music Café… is returning to the Parish Center for the Arts on Friday, Oct. 24 from 7 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at http://www.westford.com/fame. All proceeds directly support the music students, teachers, and programs of the Westford Public Schools.
#5. Intermediate Paving and Temporary Markings Have Been Completed… by Mass DOT’s contractors along Boston Road, Littleton Road and Carlisle Road near the Minot’s Corner area.
Traffic signal loops will be in place by the end of October and final touches to the construction are expected in the spring.
