Voters and Town Meeting
Voter registration deadline for the March 28, 2015 Annual Town Meeting is Friday, March 6, 2015 at 8:00pm.  The Town Clerk’s Office will be open until 8:00pm this Friday.  Mail in voter registration forms must be postmarked by March 6th in order to be considered on time.  Seventeen-year-olds who will turn 18 before March 28th are eligible to register to vote but must observe the deadline.

Town Hall

Once you have registered to vote at your current address, you do not need to re-register as long as you return your census form annually, unless you wish to make a change to your party enrollment or name.

Town Election:  Nomination papers
Nomination Papers are now available and the deadline to return them with at least 50 signatures of registered voters is Tuesday, March 17, 2015 by 5:00pm:

Annual Census forms
Have been mailed to every household and must be returned to the Town Clerk’s Office.  This allows us to keep our resident and voter information current.  State law requires that census nonrespondents who are voters must be moved to the inactive voter list.

If you haven’t received your census form or need another one, please contact the Town Clerk’s Office and we will send a form out to you.

Dog Licensing
Dogs must be licensed annually for the calendar year (licensing Fee: $15 per spayed/neutered dog; $20 per unaltered dog).
The grace period for licensing your dog is Monday, March 31st.  A late fee of $25 per family will be added to the licensing fee beginning April 1st according to town bylaw.  Dog owners ages 70 and older do not need to pay to license their dog(s) but a late fee will still apply.

Rabies Clinic
Will be held later this month.  Stay tuned for notices.  Dogs may be licensed at the rabies clinic.
