Have you ever wanted to contribute more to your community but really did not know how?  Might I suggest you investigate the Westford Kiwanis. We are a local club, one of nearly 15,000 Kiwanis clubs scattered thought the world.  We are governed by Kiwanis International which has a membership of over 600,000 members. The mission of Kiwanis International is to enhance local communities through enhancing its children. We focus on changing the world by serving children one child at a time.

KiwannisHere in Westford we have had a long history of supporting the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, youth organizations, individual scout projects and the needy children of our town.  Dozens of graduating Westford Academy Seniors have benefitted by college scholarships provided by the Westford Kiwanis.  Every year we get requests from Boy Scout Eagle candidates to provide support for their community betterment projects.

The Westford Kiwanis is a small family oriented group that includes many husband and wife teams. We work very hard to provide Westford with the “Apple Blossom Festival” in May.  This is our single yearly fund raising event. It is the largest annual event in the Town of Westford and takes place over 5 days.  The planning and execution of this festival is a year long effort.

The Westford Kiwanis is the place for you if you believe children are the future, take pride in your community, want to reach out to those in need, enjoy meeting new people and want to have fun at the same time.

For more information about the Westford Kiwanis go to our web page at:http://westford.com/kiwanis/   There you will find information in our up coming 2015 Apple Blossom Festival along with the names of contact people within Westford Kiwanis.
