Four Boston Musicians Coming To Help Low-Income Women With Concert

Four prominent Boston musicians will be performing in Chelmsford in an event raising money to help low-income women in Westford and throughout Eastern Massachusetts.

Play it Forward: Making Music, Changing Lives will feature vocalists Amanda Carr, Charlie Farren, Katrin Roush and Myanna Pontoppidan at 7 p.m. on May 29 at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts.

asdasdasdProceeds from the event will benefit the Budget Buddies, a local non-profit that builds financial literacy, confidence and security of low-income women in Eastern Massachusets through a unique program of personalized, one-on-one coaching and instructional workshops that develop self-esteem and core money-management skills.

“We are really pleased to have such amazing talent again for our second Play it Forward concert,” said Budget Buddies Executive Director Anita Saville. “Their support, and that of the concert sponsors, will help us bring our workshops and coaching to many more women in the coming year.”

The event is sponsored by Westford’s NetScout Systems as well as other area businesses.
