Westford’s Pecora Is Nashoba Tech Athlete Of The Month

WESTFORD — Veronica Pecora of Westford has been selected as an Athlete of the Month for April at Nashoba Valley Technical High School.

Veronica, daughter of Jim and Jeanie Pecora, is a junior multiple-event athlete for the spring track team, competing in the 400-meter run, the two-mile run, the triple jump and the long jump. She also plays soccer in the fall. Veronica is one of the top students in the Early Childhood Education program. She is a high-honors student and was selected as a Kick-Off Mentor, a student who helps incoming freshmen adapt to Nashoba Tech.

Veronica is in the school chorus and was inducted into the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Through Nashoba Tech’s School to Career program, she works full-time, every other week, at Next Generation Children’s Center in Westford. She plans to attend college upon graduation to continue her studies in Early Childhood Education.
