The following information came from the Westford Police Department.
Oct. 30, 2:14 a.m. – While on patrol on Princeton Way, an officer spotted a white Honda sedan pulled off to the side of the road.
The officer pulled up alongside the vehicle and began to hear yelling from the driver’s side window. It was a woman saying “hello” just before leaving the area.
At this point, the officer saw a man in some nearby woods. This man was the alleged business partner of the woman who just drove off. Together, they owned a restaurant in Franklin and an argument had become tense inside the car shortly before the officer’s arrival.
The man said the relationship was strictly business and the man wanted to leave the car due to how heated the argument had become.
No further action was taken.
Oct. 30, 1:30 p.m. – Two vehicles were involved in a crash near the Bank of America parking lot on Littleton Road.
The first vehicle, a silver Hyundai owned by a Chelmsford man, had damage to the rear left bumper.
The second vehicle, a Ford van, was operated by a man from Methuen with a suspended license.
When asked, the Methuen man said his wallet had been stolen and was awaiting a new license from the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
The officer told the Methuen man he could not drive until the license was reinstated. At this point, the Methuen man was issued a citation and the owner of the van came to pick it up.
Nov. 1, 4:15 p.m. – While an officer was inside the Rapid Refill on Groton Road, he was asked by an individual inside how to dispose of hypodermic needles.
The officer was dispatched to Elm Road on another call, but returned afterward to tell the individual that he should refrain from touching the needle and call the authorities immediately, as they have the equipment to dispose of the needle properly.
Nov. 4, 10:43 a.m. – While on patrol, an officer was dispatched to Market Basket after reports of a woman shoved down by a man.
When the officer arrived at Market Basket, the man had left in a Red SUV according to an employee, who saw the man and woman arguing earlier.
The conflict began when the woman parked her car and began to walk toward the store. Another person who mistook the woman for someone that was picking him up asked what she was doing.
In response, the woman said she was “waiting for all the crazies to park their cars.” The man with the Red SUV was nearby and thought the woman was referring to him.
Obscenities ensued prior to the pushing incident, which appeared to be an act of self-defense according security camera footage mentioned in the officer’s report.
The identity of the Red SUV man was not known, but the officer said that the woman could press charges if his identity was uncovered at a later date.
