The following information came from the Westford Police Department. Anyone arrested is innocent unless proven guilty by a court of law.

Dec. 23, 12:28 p.m. – An officer was dispatched to Cornerstone Square after reports of a road rage incident.

The officer was told that an individual smashed the rear window of a stranger’s vehicle after getting into a verbal argument over a parking space near Great Clips.

According to the man who was reported smashing the window said he was waiting for another driver in front of him in a travel lane who would not move after a significant period. Eventually, the man put his right below on the back window of the other car.

He said he was not trying to break the window, but the window did brake and the man had minor scrapes on his elbow afterward.

The man driving the car with the broken window was allegedly waiting for a parking space when the man asked him to move. He told the man that he was waiting for a space, at which point the man struck his window.

The man was issued a citation. No further information was given.

Dec. 23, 4:21 p.m. – A woman on Sullivan Way said she had arrived home at 4:05 p.m. and observed a black Toyota Camry parked in her driveway with its doors open. A man in his mid-20s with brown hair, a short beard, a baseball hat and a hoodie came out from behind her garage while smoking a cigarette.

The man said that he was looking for another road, which she thought was suspicious because she was the man’s GPS, which indicated an address in New Hampshire.

He asked the man to leave and he did. The home was not compromised. It was later learned that the car was a rental from Hertz. The person in charge of security at Hertz referred Westford Police to the head of corporate security and a voice mail was left.

Lowell and state police also ran the plate but found nothing suspicious.

Dec. 24, 10:58 a.m. – A suspicious person was reported at the Gulf Station on Littleton Road. He was described as a young man with red hair and glasses wearing a hat.

Inside the station, no one indicated they had seen the person. Outside the station, the woman who called police said the red-haired man opened the door for her and continued to ask her what she was going to order at the Dunkin’ Donuts inside.

As she left, she saw the red-haired man smoking a cigarette and saying something like “You’re going to be sorry…”

She did not have additional information on the red-haired man. No further action was taken.

Dec. 31, 4:09 p.m. – There was a private party on Cross Street and individuals within the party called police after an unwanted woman arrived.

The party was occurring within a community room and the unwanted woman said she was doing laundry even though there was a sign saying there was a private party within the room.

Either the woman doing the laundry or the woman who called police said they had received threats from the other one, although this is unclear due to redaction within the report.

The officer asked the laundry woman if any threats were made on this day, and she said there were none. She was also unaware of the party before arriving.

The woman who organized the party said the laundry woman gave her dirty looks when she entered the room and did see the sign when entering the room and still did her laundry anyway.

The officer asked the laundry woman to not return until 8 p.m. to get her laundry. She agreed.
