For Kids:
Team Magic with Greg McAdams: Tuesday, April 19 at 1:00 PM. A fun and interactive program filled with comedy, puppetry, and magic. Tickets ($2.00) on sale in Youth Services (Monday, April 4). For ages 5 and up.
Creature Teachers with Richard Roth: Thursday, April 21 at 2:00 PM. Encounter a variety of fascinating creatures up close and in the library. Tickets ($2.00).on sale in Youth Services (Monday, April 4). For ages 5 and up.
Snap Circuits for Grades 2-5 Friday, April 22 from 3:30 to 4:30 PM. Join our Snap Circuits club and build fans that whir, lights that flash, and button activated sirens, all with safe, snap-together parts and an easy-to-follow project manual. Call the Youth Services Department to register (978-399-2302).
Lego® Club Saturday, April 23 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. Come create something fun with Library Legos®. All creations will be displayed in the library until the next time we meet. For ages five and up.

 

For Teens:
Art & Food Competition: Tuesday, April 19 at 3 p.m. Show off your combination of artistic and culinary talents and create the ultimate masterpieces at the Library’s Art & Food Competition. Teens & Tweens in grades 5 to 12 will work together in groups of two or three and create on selection of artwork and culinary creations.  All materials will be provided by the Library. Each team’s creations will be judged by our Teen & Tween Advisory Board Members for creativity and presentation.  Prizes will be awarded for the best creations and best effort overall.  No experience necessary, just come and be creative and have a ton of fun at this FREE event.  Registration is required.
Painting Workshop with Sherry Hoffman: Wednesday, April 20 at 3 p.m.  Local artist, Sherry Hoffman, will lead an inspiring acrylic and chalk painting on black canvas workshop for teens and tweens in grades 5 – 12.  Registration is required for this FREE event.
