It’s been a week since an amendment to the agricultural preservation restriction at 66-68 Boston Road fell at Annual Town Meeting.

Also known as half of the “Gateway to Westford” as well as the former site of Drew Gardens and Eric’s, property owner Ebi Masalehdan is aiming to return with a new plan to renovate the distressed former agricultural land.

As Westford waits for that plan, WestfordCAT News is asking for your take in our first ever “Question of the Week.”

Was the vote so close that it’s worth aiming for a comparable-sized restaurant again? What if the restaurant were smaller? Or is only a farm stand or other type of farm the only acceptable use for the property? Maybe the town should purchase the land and transform it into a park of some kind? Or is there some completely different use than what one might expect?
