Westford Is In For A Treat!
Did you know that Westford is home to a nationally acclaimed master story performer? Leeny Del Seamonds – a long-time Westford resident — is an award-winning performer, coach, author, recording artist, and professional voice actor. As part of Westford Education Foundation’s observance of National Screen-Free Week, Leeny presents Stories Alive With Leeny! Her performance will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at the J.V. Fletcher Library. She will delight her audience with engaging, uplifting, and humorous multicultural stories and a song or two. This event is free, open to the public, and appropriate for families with children ages four and up. With a face and voice that launched a thousand characters, Leeny is the recipient of Parents’ Choice Silver and Gold Awards and the National Storytelling Network ORACLE Circle of Excellence Award, among many other distinctions.
National Screen-Free Week is May 2 – 8, 2016, and WEF would like to encourage families to spend time together without screens. Join WEF and Leeny for an unforgettable evening. For more information, go to http://www.leenydelseamonds.com/, http://www.screenfree.org/, or http://wefweb.org/.
