A Little Weight, A Lot of Benefits (for Adults and Teens) – Adding a small amount of weight training can provide big benefits.  This program is ideal for moms, daughters, or any woman who wants to increase her energy level and maintain a healthy body weight. June 20 to July 25 (5 Mondays and 5 Thursdays) 7:45 a.m. to 8:40 a.m.  $102/$99

Baking Around the World for ages 8 to 12 – French pastries, Italian cookies, Danish puffs, American pies, so much more.  This class starts at the beginning; we will learn how to turn flour and sugar into beautiful desserts as well as measuring techniques to bake the perfect dessert.  June 2, 4 Thursdays, 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

Paint and Sip for ages 4 to 6 – Under the guidance of artist Mary Jane Brunelle, children will paint a fun canvas to take home and display.  Fresh fruit, cookies and lemonade will be served.  Tuesday, May 31, 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  $10.  Partially funded by a Greater Lowell Community Foundation grant.

Tree, Rock, Bridge – Summer Yoga for Kids ages 5 to 7 – Yoga poses will be taught through a variety of active games, reading, crafts, ecology and music.  We will make nature mandalas, painted rocks, tie dye shirts and water color painting using our hands and feet.  Yoga mats provided; material fee of $10.  June 27 to June 30, Monday thru Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to noon.  $131/$129

Immersion Spanish (Ages 3 to 5)- Lessons will have age appropriate activities that will teach children basic vocabulary, short simple sentences and Latin American culture.  Activities encourage comprehension, speaking and play through singing, making music, games and story time feature Spanish books.  May 20 to June 17 (5 Fridays) 10 to 11 a.m. $78/$75

Fusion Baking – Girl’s Night Out – Have you ever considered combining your favorite cocktail with a cupcake, or cross a brownie with a cheesecake?  The results of combining the different sweet flavors is fusion baking.  We will be combining some unusual staples to create the most decadent sweets.  $48/$45  Tuesday, June 7, 7 to 9 p.m.

Introduction to Shamanic Healing – Learn the healing knowledge we all shared in ancient times.  All illness originates in the spirit body and then manifests in the physical body.  Learn to identify and remove illness from the spirit body.  Bring mat to lie on, blindfold, notebook and pen.  Thursday, June 9, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., see web site for prerequisites.  $70/$67.

How the Universe Works – Learn about the Law of Attraction and more, how to use it all to your advantage to improve your life.  Set your intentions for goals, and take steps towards realizing them.  Wednesday, June 1, 7 to 9 p.m., $50/$47.

Doggone Fun Games – Test your training progress with these engaging group games.  Each game is designed to test skills in a fun way, providing feedback to the owner about what is working and where to concentrate training efforts.  Thursday, June 9, 7 to 8 p.m., $33/$30

Beginner Dog Obedience Levels 1 and 2 – Join Lisa Bert of Fingers and Paws Dog Training and start your dog on the path to better manners.  Level 1 starts June 9, 6 Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. or June 16 at 6:30 p.m.  Level 2 starts Thursday, June 16 at 7:40 p.m. $138/$135

Scrubs, Balms and Butters – Students will make their own solid lotion bar, body butter, liquid scrub and an emulsified scrub.  Instructor Jennifer Hofmann will also provide students with an informational hand out as well as recipes to make other bath products.  Material fee of $20; Tuesday, June 7, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., $50/$47
