Outsmart the Scammers Incidents of fraud are on the rise and scammer’s tactics are becoming more complex.  This presentation will help give attendees the information they need. During the program, you will learn how to spot certain red flags that may indicate a fraudulent encounter, resources to go to in the event you are targeted, and steps to take to help protect you and your family. Monday, June 27, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. $10 per family.

Choosing a College Search and Selection How does one go about narrowing the field of thousands of options to just the right school?  What about student-athletes, special education students or other specific circumstances?  What are the changes in the Common Application, and should a student apply early?  This session aims to demystify the postsecondary planning process, decrease stress and increase communication. Tuesday, July 26, 7 to 8:30 p.m. $24/$21 Individual, $29/$26 Family.

Summer Gymnastics Fun Full Day Learn gymnastic skills while running through obstacle course, swing on the bars, balancing on the beam, and playing games. Crafts project and group activities. Sessions throughout summer. See www.roudenbush.org.

Tree, Rock, Bridge Summer Yoga for Kids ages 5 to 7  Yoga poses will be taught through a variety of active games, reading, crafts, ecology and music.  Make nature mandalas, painted rocks, tie dye shirts and water color painting using hands and feet.  Yoga mats provided; material fee of $10.  June 27 through July30, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to Noon.  $131/$129

Open/Advanced Fencing – This class is for fencers who have taken several intermediate courses or are advanced fencers.  Lessons will not be given, but we will spend our time fencing one another.

It’s All About Summer Art Workshop Grades K-6 Enjoy the process of making summer art; explore materials and techniques, focusing on summer subjects. The instructor will survey the class in advance for ideas on what makes summer great, and will try to incorporate some of those ideas!
