On Wednesday at 8:43 a.m., Westford Police and agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency’s Clandestine Lab unit discovered what is being termed as a “cooking lab” at 2 Mountain View Ln.
According to a release from the Westford Police Department, a search of the house revealed an active clandestine lab with butane honey/hashish oil in the basement.
As of approximately 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, various law enforcement agencies were on scene to secure the area and collect evidence.
Five arrests were made in relation to the bust: Bradley C. Heath, 22 and Bradley C. Heath, 63 of 2 Mountain View Ln., Lindley M. Heath, 28, of 2 Mountain View Ln., Lindsey T. Holston, 20, of 8 York Ave. in Westford, and Prachi S. Joglekar, 22, of 52 Pacer Way in Groton.
In a statement from Westford Police Captain Victor Neal, these five individuals are expected to be arraigned at Ayer District Court at 2 p.m.
Neal told the Lowell Sun that additional arrests may follow as the house was unoccupied at the time of the bust.Â
According to public records, the house has four bedrooms, is appraised at $829,500 and was last sold in 1989. Mountain View Lane is just off Chamberlain Road between Main Street and Lowell Road.
