Minion Mayhem! Friday, July 8 at 2 p.m. It’s BANANAS!  The YS Librarians will host an unruly Minion party to celebrate our summer reading theme. Join us for Minion crafts, games, and activities. This free drop-in program is for ages 4 and up with an adult.
Camp Read-A-Lot, Wednesday, July 13 and Wednesday July 27 at 6:30 p.m. Join us for lots of stories, singing, and dancing! Program takes place in the Story Hour Room. This free drop-in program is for ages 3-7.
Yo-Yo Dance and Music with “Ooch”, Thursday, July 14 at 2 p.m. Ooch (performer Brett Outchcunis) comes complete with orange shoes, music, his trusty yo-yo, sweet dance moves, super powers, and a quirky sense of humor. This program is generously funded by the KDK Memorial Foundation (in honor of Kurt Kelly). FREE tickets are available by phone or in person. This program is for ages 5 and up.
Power & Energy Show with Sciencetellers, Tuesday, July 19 at 11 a.m. Throw on your lab coat and buckle in to experience the science of power and energy through several exciting, hands-on experiments. Enjoy this energetic adventure as we discover what makes us move and what powers the world. Tickets ($2.00) for children and adults are available by phone or in person. This program is for ages 6 and up.
Lawn Concert with Steve Blunt, Thursday, July 21 at 11:30 a.m. Steve can engage children in the 0-10 age range, from babies and toddlers to big kids–and their parents, too. Come sing along and rock with us on the back lawn of the library. This free drop-in program is for all ages. Please bring a blanket and a picnic lunch. But if it rains, please eat before you come and the show will be in the Meeting Room.
Rolie Polie Guacamole Band, Tuesday, July 26 at 7 p.m. Winner of the prestigious Parents’ Choice® and NAPPA Awards, Rolie Polie Guacamole offers a rocking show that stylishly dresses up original tunes and classic covers. Tickets ($2.00) for children and adults are available by phone or in person. This program is for all ages.
