Amy Loretta Cornelius and Caroline Marhefka of Westford were recently named to the Dean’s List at Clemson University for the spring 2016 semester.

They both are majoring in biological sciences.

Westford residents also were named to the President’s List at Clemson: Kelsey Pandiscio and Amelia Rose Shein.

At Clemson, those named to the Dean’s List include students who have achieved a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale. To get on the President’s List, one must achieve a 4.0 grade point average.

These four students were joined by several other Westford students at other colleges and boarding schools recently named to Dean’s List.

Those other students include John Clark of the Pomfret School in Pomfret, CT; computer science major Jason Ko and computer and systems engineering major Mark Westerhoff at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY and Brando Jurewicz of Hofstra University.

Hofstra’s Dean’s List requires at least a 3.5 grade point average, Pomfret requires a 3.33 grade point average and no grade below a B-, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute requires at least a 3.0 and no grades below a C.
