Declaring that it is time for Massachusetts Republicans to close ranks around their Presidential nominee, Republican State Committeeman, Dennis Galvin, of Westford, will sponsor a resolution that would commit the Republican State Committee and State Republican Party leadership to do just that. Galvin will introduce his resolution to the Massachusetts Republican State Committee at the Committee’s next meeting, scheduled for August 24, 2016.

“The choice in this election is very clear for any informed Republican or conservative voter,” says Galvin.  “My resolution points to Donald Trump’s unprecedented Primary victory, his clear and unequivocal articulation of the issues facing the nation, and his record of business accomplishments in the New York City real estate and development industry.  All of this is compelling evidence of his capability to govern.  Further, Trump is intelligent, tough and committed.”

Criticizing the mainstream media, Galvin charges, “Their agenda is very clear; they are working for the Democratic nominee.”  He warns that, should Hillary Clinton win this election, the nation will witness the greatest consolidation of federal power in its history.  The press, the Executive Branch, with all its security apparatus, and, eventually, the Supreme Court will be in lockstep behind a Clinton Administration.  “She would complete the attack started against American values, economic prosperity and national security begun by her predecessor,” states Galvin.  “However, she would bring to this task an arsenal of resources of which President Obama could only dream.”

Galvin takes issue with those claiming that Donald Trump lacks the temperament to govern.  “Trump is outspoken,” states Galvin, “but American culture has become so ‘politically correct’ that the tradition of speaking frankly and freely is being lost.  Clinton’s flaws are far more significant.  She is a ‘documented liar’, as evidenced by the false testimony she gave to Congress regarding the mishandling of sensitive State Department emails.  Additionally, her continued association with the Clinton Global Initiative, during her time as Secretary of State, has raised serious concerns about conflict of interest.  These issues dwarf any concerns raised, thus far, about Donald Trump’s suitability to serve.”
