The Early Childhood Education program at Nashoba Valley Technical High School has initiated program in which residents of the nearby Bridges by EPOCH, an assisted-living facility whose residents have Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other forms of memory loss, visit the children at the school’s Early Learning Center preschool. The program provides an opportunity for several generations — the Bridges residents get to play games with the children, who get a chance to get to know and be comfortable around senior citizens. And it gives students in Nashoba Tech’s Early Childhood Education program a chance to interact with both generations.
