New Gas Mains Installed in Nabnasset Section of Westford

National Grid and New England Utility Constructors have been replacing a gas main for the past few weeks in the Nabnasset section along Groton Road.

According to a National Grid correspondence, the work began at 487 Groton Road and is now extending to 527 Groton Road and 104 Oak Hill Road.

Myrtle Avenue, Grove Street, Brookside Road, and Laurel Avenue are all getting new gas mains.

The completion date is approximately Nov. 15. Expect delays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
