Westford resident wins Nashoba Tech Haunted Road Race

Ryan Soderquist of Westford and Alex Jospe of Newton were the top male and female finishers in the sixth annual Friends of Nashoba Valley Technical High School Haunted 5K Road Race, held Saturday, Oct. 22.

Soderquist, 38, finished with a time of 18:00, and Jospe finished in 21:05, good for sixth overall.

Also finishing in the top 10 were Trevor Fields of Shirley, a junior at Nashoba Tech, second, 18:10; James Kimball of Pepperell, a sophomore, third, 18:52; Carlos Flores of Lowell, fourth, 19:51; Robert Paris of Pepperell, a freshman, fifth, 20:33; Gabrielle Vanderdrives of Newton, seventh, 21:18; Nick Clark of Londonderry, New Hampshire, eighth, 21:30; Evan Platted of Chelmsford, ninth, 21:36; and Brody Miner of Devens, a freshman, 10th, 22:00.

In all, 111 runners were registered for the race, which benefits Nashoba Tech athletics.
