Death of 70-year-old Man at Nashoba Valley Ski Area Ruled Not Suspicious

LATEST UPDATE – The death today of a 70-year-old Townsend man on the premises of the Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Westford has been deemed non suspicious.

The discovery of a body just before 9:30 a.m., Nov. 22, initiated an investigation by Westford police and Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan.

The unidentified man was an employee of the ski area, according to a joint statement by Westford Police Chief Thomas McEnaney and Ryan.

No further information was released.

WESTFORD – Channel 5 the Boston Channel is reporting the death today of an employee on the premises of the Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Westford.

When reached by phone this morning, Nov. 22, Pamela Fletcher, the ski area’s director of marketing, declined to comment.

A statement about the incident is forthcoming, she said.
