Holiday Luncheon
Seniors are invited to a holiday luncheon at the Franco American Club with a performance by the Westford Academy Chorus on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 11:30 a.m. Pork loin catered by Shirley Caterers will be served. Cost: Friends members, $7; Non-Friends members, $10. Seniors are asked to RSVP by calling 978-692-5523. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. for those who wish to come early and visit with friends. The Franco American Club is locate at 55 West Prescott St., Westford.
Lunch and Learn with District Attorney Marian Ryan
RiverCourt Residences of Groton will sponsor a complimentary lunch for seniors presented by Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan on Dec. 9 at 12:15 p.m., entitled “Staying Safe.” This seminar will help teach seniors how to better protect their identities and assets from scam artists. Also, Nirisa Nicoletti from the Westford police department and Denise Kemmitt, Assistant Branch Manager from Worker’s Credit Union will share helpful information. The event takes place at the Cameron Senior Center, 20 Pleasant St., Westford. Residents are asked to RSVP by calling 978-692-5523.
Holiday Social
Town Manager Jodi Ross and members of the Board of Selectmen will prepare and serve a breakfast for seniors on Wednesday, Dec. 15 at 8 a.m. at the Cameron Senior Center, 20 Pleasant St., Westford. Seniors are asked to RSVP by calling 978-692-5523.

Holiday Baskets- In need of sponsors
Officials at the Cameron Senior Center and at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul-St. Catherine’s are preparing holiday baskets to help Westford families experiencing financial hardship or ill health. Residents are asked to donate needed food items, gifts,  gift cards, monetary donations or their time by volunteering.  For more information contact Katie Russell at 978-692-5523,
