Featured Children’s Book Review of Cynthia Lord’s “A Handful of Stars,” recommended by Jacki Dibble. Blueberries, peanut butter sandwiches, and a dog named Lucky? These three things bring two girls together: one from a family of migrant blueberry pickers and the other from a family in a small, Maine town full of blueberry fields.  While so often people see the differences between people, these two girls learn to find the similarities.  In the process, they discover how to be a true friend.  I only wish they had included a recipe for blueberry enchiladas!
