Hundreds of middle-school students, parents and interested residents from Nashoba Valley Technical High School’s district visited the campus for the school’s recent annual Open House.
The event was tailored to seventh- and eighth-graders in the school’s district and their parents, but community members were also welcome to come in and see what Nashoba Tech has to offer. There were guided tours and opportunities to meet with academic teachers and technical instructors.
The Open House gave Nashoba Tech a chance to show off its most recent technical offerings — Advanced Manufacturing, Biotechnology and Veterinary Assisting.
Also on display were Nashoba Tech’s 17 other technical programs, including Automotive Collision Repair & Refinishing; Automotive Technology; Banking, Marketing & Retail; Carpentry/Cabinet Making; Cosmetology; Culinary Arts; Dental Assisting; Design & Visual Communications; Early Childhood Education; Electrical Technology; Electronics/Robotics and Engineering Technology (which form the school’s innovative Engineering Academy); Health Assisting; Hotel & Restaurant Management; Plumbing & Heating; Programming & Web Development; and TV & Media Production/Theatre Arts.
Registration is open now for the 2017-2018 school year. Nashoba Tech is at 100 Littleton Road (Route 110), Westford. For more information about Open House, call 978-692-4711 or visit www.nashoba.tech.net.
