FUNDrive at the Roudenbush Community Center: 8 a.m to 12 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19. Help the Roudenbush Gymnastics Team by donating gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, cds, dvds, books, electrical items, toys and games, sporting goods, knick-knacks, linens and small household items.  Items must be in good, clean and sellable condition. Please Note that any unclaimed lost and found items at the Roudenbush will also be donated. 

Gingerbread House Workshop Ages 5 and Up: 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. The full-size gingerbread house will be prepared and assembled ahead, no mess for you!  All you need to do is roll up your sleeves of lots of fun with lots of candy decorations.  Make this a family project, and join your child in this fun activity.  All materials included. Register by Nov, 26.  Cost $33/$30.

Roudy’s Polar Express 2016: 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4. Join us for an afternoon of fun.  Make and take home crafts, enjoy cookies and hot chocolate while watching the Polar Express movie and a visit from Santa.  Drop off your child ages 3 and up, or stay for a fun family afternoon. Cost: 1 child $15. Additional children, $10 each.

Holiday Cookie Decorating Using Fondant: 6 to 9 p.m., Monday, Nov. 14. Learn how to decorate cookies for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday season with Master Decorator Raffaella. Participants must bring an apron and a container for cookies.  All materials are included. Cost: $68/$65.

Children’s Art Classes with Mary Jane Brunelle:

Grades K to 2: 4 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays, Nov. 28 to Dec. 19

Grades 2 to 4:  4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Nov. 29 to Dec. 20

Grades 4 to 8:  4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Nov 30 to Dec. 21

$81/$78, Materials fee of $8 paid to Instructor.

Kindermusik Classes: Thursdays, Dec. 8 to Dec. 29.  New sessions for Wiggle and Grow, Laugh and Learn, and Cuddle and Bounce: Cost: $78/75 See www.roudenbush.org for specific times and to register.

 Intro to K9 Nose Work Level 1: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Fridays, Dec 2 to Jan 20, excluding Dec. 23 and Dec. 30. Your dog has an amazing nose! This class offers an introduction to the exciting dog sport of K9 Nose Work.  Based on professional detection techniques, this class is fun for dogs of all breeds, ages and personalities. Cost: $143/$140.

Just Tamera and Me Ages 2.8 to 5 years, drop off class: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesdays, Dec. 7 to Dec. 21. The class will foster independence before starting preschool or kindergarten with singing, making crafts, reading books and having fun. Two hour or new three hour sessions with “bring own lunch” option. Cost: $95/$92, 3 hours, $64/$61 2 hours.

Clay, Pottery & Sculpture:  4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Nov. 15 to Dec. 13.  Beginner or advanced students will learn useful art by means of the potter’s wheel and learn to sculpt, hand build and add nature to their designed.  Supplies included.  $134/$131.

Social Puppy 2 Dog Training for Puppies 4 to 6 months. Wednesdays, Nov.30 to Dec.21. Continue to work on skills started in Social Puppy 1 or get started now that puppy has entered early adolescence.  Particular attention will be paid to reading body language, evaluating play, and knowing how and when to interrupt and manage off leash play. Cost: $93/$90.

Paint and Sip for Adults: 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17. Grab some friends or take some time for yourself!  Relax, sip some wine and be guided through an acrylic painting.  No experience required and all materials are provided. Cost: $38/$35.

Paint and Sip for Youth, Grades 3 through Teen: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov.17.  Participants will explore painting in a relaxing and fun 2 hour class and create an acrylic painting from start to finish.  All materials are provided. Parents are welcome to paint canvas along with child. Cost: $38/$35, additional parent $25.

Reiki Level I: 9 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19.  This one day class is the beginning of Reiki training.  The training consists of discussion and hands-on-practice.  Participants will also learn how to give Reiki to themselves, family and friends.  A Reiki notebook and certificate endorsed by the Reiki Professional Association will be provided. Cost: $153/$150.
