Technology is a large part of our lives. And kids are often more savvy than we parents are. How can we keep them safe when they’re online? Join the Westford Parent Connection as we host The Predators’ Playground: Internet And Cellphone Safety on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. in the Stony Brook Middle School auditorium. Westford Police Detectives Geoffrey Pavao and Nirisa Nicoletti and Westford Public Schools’ K-12 Health/Wellness Curriculum Coordinator Sean O’Leary share their wealth of information regarding which apps kids are using (and perhaps shouldn’t be), and how parents should have ongoing conversations about their kids’ digital lives. Used appropriately, social media is a wonderful way to communicate. However, sometimes kids can get into trouble quickly and may need help. Join uson Wednesday evening to learn what you need to know to keep your kids safe. Please note that this event is free and open to the public, and is designed for adults only.
