Bridges by EPOCH at Westford will host its monthly caregiver support groups on Thursday, Jan. 12 at 12 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 23 at 4:30 p.m. Participants are invited to share their caregiving story while also hearing the stories of others facing similar experiences. Lunch will be served at the Jan. 12 session. Loved ones are invited to have a meal with the staff.

Participants can experience Bridges by EPOCH ’s art therapy programming at a special watercolors class with local artist and instructor Joan Silverman on Thursday, Jan. 19 at 11 a.m. Participants can share a fun class with loved ones and experience therapeutic and cognitive benefits of art while creating watercolor paintings to take home.

Bridges by EPOCH at Westford will host part one of its Demystifying Dementia series, “Dementia 101,” at the J.V. Fletcher Library, 50 Main Street, on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. Presented by Alicia Seaver, our Director of Memory Care, this educational session will cover important warning signs, causes and risk factors, and stages and progression, as well as the benefits of early detection and treatment.

CHELMSFORD—Bridges by EPOCH will host its monthly Memory Café for individuals with memory loss and their loved ones at The Java Room, 14 Littleton Road, on Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 3 p.m. Participants can bring their loved ones for a cup of joe, entertainment, the companionship of peers, and a dose of The Java Room’s natural aromatherapy.
