Maria Cruz of Lowell, a senior in the Health Assisting program at Nashoba Valley Technical High School in Westford, takes a selfie with her classmates in Health Assisting and residents of Bridges by Epoch in Westford, an assisted-living community for memory care.
Health Assisting students regularly spend time with the residents of Bridges and each spring hold a “Senior Prom” at the school for the residents, featuring music, dancing and lunch. Before the holiday break, nine residents of Bridges came to the school to sing holiday songs for the students, including “Deck the Halls,” “Joy to the World,” “Jingle Bells” and “Silent Night.”
