State Rep. James Arciero recently hosted students from Westford’s Blanchard Middle School at the State House.  The students were participating in the annual Brain Injury Awareness Day hosted by the Massachusetts Brain Injury Association.

The yearly event is held to advocate for legislation, policies and funding to help individuals with traumatic head injuries and to promote awareness of the impact of these injuries on the lives of individuals and families.

The trip was organized by Blanchard Middle School Nurse Charity MacDonald who has dealt with these issues with several students in the school system.
