The 3rd Annual Person of the Year Event honoring Nancy Cook, Westford, will be held at the Westford Regency Inn on Thursday evening, April 13. Cook has been involved with countless non-profit and community organizations including the Westford Council on Aging, American Federation Suicide Prevention, Toys for Tots, and others, giving her time, talent, and expertise to those who need it most. She is currently the Executive Vice President of Cook and Concord Oil.

Please join in honoring a very special person who has dedicated her life to community and volunteerism.

Cocktails and a silent auction will begin at 6 p.m., with dinner and presentation at 7:30 p.m. The cost is: $65 per person, $475 table of eight.  Get your tickets online at www.roudenbush.org  by Sunday, April 9.  Proceeds to benefit the Roudenbush Community Center.

Be a Basketball Phenomenon: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays March 11 to April 15. Souleymane Wayne, who helped UConn win its first National Championship, will teach students the mechanics of basketball, how to shoot, pass, play defense and practice on their own. Cost: $158/$155.

 Group Circuit Training:  6:30 to 7:20 p.m. Mondays, March 20 to May 8. The 50 minute workouts switch between a series of 8 to 10 weekly-changing resistance stations integrated with a series of cardiovascular stations.  Cost: $91/$88

Paint and Sip for Adults and Teens: 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 30.  Grab some friends, a partner or take some time for yourself! Relax, sip some wine and be guided through an acrylic painting.  No experience required and all materials are provided.  Teens are welcome, if accompanied by an adult or with written parental permission.  Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for those under 21.

Clay, Pottery Wheel, Sculpture: 7 to 9 p.m. March 13 to April. 10 and March 14 to Apr. 11. Beginner or advanced students will learn useful art by means of the potter’s wheel and will also learn to sculpt, hand build and add nature to their beautiful designs. Glazing and firing techniques will be applied when creating your pottery. All supplies and firings are included in cost. Parents are welcome to join with child. Cost: $132/$129 5 classes.

 Clay Play For Ages 5 and Up With Parent: 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, March 2. In this one hour pottery workshop, children will learn basic of hand building and pottery painting, with an air dry clay. Each child will learn to create a fun sculpture, dish or pot, utilizing techniques of design and painting. Everyone will bring home a completed piece of pottery. Cost: $38/$35, adult with 1 child, $10 each additional child.

 Decorative Soap Making Advanced Soap Making Class:  6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 15. This is a class for those who have previously made soap.  Advance coloring, using embeds, creating layers, mica stamping and making cupcake soaps will be covered.  A materials fee of $20 is payable to instructor at class. Cost: $70/$67.

 Art Classes for Grades K to 8. 4 to 5:30 p.m., Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, beginning March 14. Various classes depending on age group. See course descriptions online. Materials fee $8 payable to instructor. Cost: $81/$78.

 5 Keys to Successful Weight Loss: 9 to 11:30 am. Saturday, March 18. This seminar will teach eating strategies and mind body techniques to help to help end struggles with food and weight. Cost $32/$29.
