Students and staff in the Carpentry program at Nashoba Valley Technical High School are putting the finishing touches on a community-service in Groton, building sheds and concession stands at the Cow Pond Baseball Fields. Seniors and juniors have been working on alternating weeks to complete the project, which includes three 7-foot-by-14-foot structures, and one 8-foot-by-16-foot structure. They will be used to store equipment and as concession stands to raise money for youth baseball.
