Blanchard Middle School Students Lay Wreath at Tomb of Unknown Soldier

Samantha Valcourt and Olivia Dunn, eighth grade students at Blanchard Middle School, lay the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia on Friday, May 26. Valcourt and Dunn wrote essays to win the honor.

According to parent Derek Parker of Westford, about 170 eighth-graders and 18 teachers took the class trip to Washington, D.C. from May 24 -26.
