Adam Gagne, Business Education Teacher and Head Football Coach at Westford Academy, will be changing roles starting July 1.

“Adam earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Bentley College and a Master of Business Administration from Rivier College. Adam came to Westford Academy as an Assistant Football Coach in 2009, after six seasons of coaching football at Merrimack College. In 2010, Adam was hired as business teacher and DECA advisor and in 2012, was promoted to Head Football Coach. Throughout the past eight years at Westford Academy Adam has worked hard to connect and collaborate with the Westford Academy community on many levels.  He is a member of the district Educator Evaluator Committee, Westford Academy School Council Faculty Representative, Student Handbook Committee and has also coached several other sub-varsity sports.

Mr. Gagne’s time at Westford Academy has allowed him to demonstrate his strong communication skills and ability to work with a variety of students, staff, parents and community members. While his titles included Business Teacher, DECA advisor, and Football Coach, Adam has worked hard to involve himself in as many areas at Westford Academy as possible. It is clear; Adam believes that a true educational experience does not just happen in one specific classroom, club, or playing field.  In his new position as Interim Director of Athletics, Adam is excited to continue to learn, grow, and positively impact Westford Academy.

Adam, his wife Katelyn and their three children; Morgan, Grant, and Quinn reside in Westford.”
