Kathy Austin’s Continuing K-9 Nose Work: 7:45 to 8:45 p.m. Fridays, July 21 to Aug. 11. The focus will be on teaching the dogs to search for a trained target odor (birch) and building odor obedience. The use and handling of odor will be discussed, some of the exercises used in the past as an aid in imprinting odor will be revisited. Handlers will continue to learn valuable techniques for supporting their dogs during searches, as well as beginning to understand how odor and odor movement can be affected by the environment and the handler team. Cost: $143/$140.

 Animal Drawing Workshop, Grades 4 to 8: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug 3 to Friday, Aug. 4. Using pencil, charcoal and crayons, students will learn to sketch and shade a variety of animal types. They will study line contouring, blending, and cross hatching techniques working from photos and demonstrations.  The class is designed to instill confidence in basic drawing skill and to help the artist see the animal form in a whole new way. Materials fee $10 to instructor. Cost: $90/$87.

You and Me and the Beautiful Sea Art Workshop, Grades 2 to 5. 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25 to Thursday, July 27. Learn fine art painting techniques as you explore sea and skyscapes. Projects include an oil painted sea, and a Cape Cod landscape using blending methods and active brushstroke methods. Materials fee $10 to instructor. Cost $130/$127.

Jungle Jambalaya Grades 1 to 4: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday July 31 to Wednesday, Aug. 2. Participants will learn to sketch animals of all shapes and textures and design colorful setting for them using paints, clay and even natural materials. Materials fee $10 to instructor. Cost: $130/$127.

Model Rocketry Grades 4 to 7: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  July 24 – 28. Students will build two Estes model rockets.  This includes cutting pieces, gluing materials together and spray painting.  Engineering design process will be taught as well as basic physics and flight science.  Additional activities include EU3 robotics, Frisbee and other outdoor activities Students will do a test launch at end of week. Cost $153/$150.  Materials fee of $12.

Chopped Westford Edition Ages 12-16: 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1.  Cost: $50/$47.

Make up and Wake Up Class Aroma Spa: 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 20. This basic beauty class is designed to accommodate all skill levels. No previous makeup experience is required. This is a perfect event for mothers, daughters, sisters, friends who want to have a fun afternoon together. Cost: $43/$40.

Beginning Ballroom: Location Dance New England School of Dance: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thurs. July 27.  Dances include waltz, foxtrot, rumba and swing. Cost: $105/$102.
