Funfest Kicks off Fall, Sept. 9
The Westford Family FunFest is kicking off fall with a gathering on Saturday, September 9 at Kimball Farm from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Organizers promise a day of games, activities and performances. Participants can take advantage of Kimball’s mini golf courses, the driving range, the arcade, the batting cages, and the bumper boats. Open Rehearsals start Sept. 5
Open rehearsals will be held for the Westford Chorus on Sept. 5, 12, and 19. Auditions are not required. The Westford Chorus is a soprano, alto, tenor and bass group whose mission, according to their website, is to “present the widest possible spectrum of choral music to Westford and the surrounding communities.” For more information, visit westfordchorus.org.
Katie McNally Comes Home to Play
Westford’s Katie McNally and her fiddle are coming home to Westford to perform a benefit concert for NuDay Syria on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. McNally is an internationally-recognized player and modern-day composer of the Scottish- and Cape Breton-style repertoire.
