Who were the minutemen and why did they turn out on the morning of April 19, 1775? Was everyone in Westford in favor of the Patriot cause? How many joined the army? How far did Westford soldiers travel? What happened to the family members who stayed home? What did they do after the war? These and many other topics will be covered as Dan Lacroix discusses the research he has done over the past 20 years into Westford’s revolutionary period.

Reproductions of period muskets, accouterments and clothing will also be on display. Lacroix leads the Westford Minutemen and is president of the Westford Historical Society. Refreshments will be served
