Selectmen had a full agenda on March 20 including the approval or dismissal of several annual Town Meeting articles.

In addition, Town Counsel Gregg Corbo won unanimous support for his request that the town join a consortium of local and national law firms to assist in the recovery of municipal costs resulting from the opioid crisis.

Jennifer Claro, director of the Cameron Senior Center, also won unanimous approval to take part in a regional transportation initiative that would provide subsidized taxi services to seniors.

Annual Town Meeting opens on Saturday, March 24 at 10 a.m. at the Abbot School, 23 Depot St., Westford.
