Nashoba Valley Technical High School is again offering its Jr. Viking Summer Experience this summer.

The Jr. Viking Summer Experience is a four-week program open to students who are entering grades 6-9. Students can choose two of the following programs and courses each week: Animal Care, Automotive Basics, Better Babysitting, Cosmetology, Culinary Basics, Cupcake Decorating, Dental Assisting, Digital Photography, First Aid, Robotics, and Web and Graphic Design.

The cost is $299 per week per student. The daily schedule is: 8:45-9 a.m., drop-off; 9-11:30 a.m., first selection; 11:30 a.m.-noon, lunch; noon-1:30 p.m., second selection; 1:30-4 p.m., extended day. Visit nashobatech.net for more information.

Also this summer, Nashoba Tech is once again offering Empow Studios’ Tech & Design Camp and Minecraft Camp for kids entering grades 2-8. The camp runs three weeks, June 25-29, July 2-6 and July 9-13. The cost is $335 per week for a half-day, $595 per week for full-day.

Empow Studios in Westford has created educational opportunities through its camps and workshops.

Tech & Design Camp features robotics, 2-D and 3-D video-game design, animation, Scratch programming, coding, 3-D modeling & printing, audio engineering, digital music and video production.

Minecraft Camp focuses on various educational aspects of Minecraft. Campers will learn moding, electrical engineering, architecture, game design and world creation.
