Workers were spotted at the Abbot School on Aug. 8, repairing the roof.

At the March Annual Town Meeting, voters approved applying $3.016 million to complete the design, bidding and construction phases.

Another $50K was appropriated at the July 10, 2017 special Town Meeting for the first portion of the schematic design.

“We are expecting to come in under budget,” stated Kathy Auth, director of school finance. “The project is expected to be substantially complete on Aug. 24, and any remaining work needed after that date will be done after school hours and on weekends.”
