Need a perm? Hair getting too long? Nails in rough shape? Head to Cosmo Cuts, the in-school salon at Nashoba Valley Technical High School.

Cosmo Cuts offers such services as shampoo and cut, conditioning treatments, hair colors, perms, manicures, facials, makeup applications and much more at prices far below those of other retail salons. Instructors Donna McMahon and Sheriley Farrand have decades of experience between them, and their upperclass Cosmetology students are prepared to serve local customers with quality hair and nail treatments.

Cosmo Cuts is open Wednesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon, when school is in session, and Tuesday, for special groups only, from 9 a.m. to noon. To make an appointment, call 978-692-4711, ext. 6142.

And while you’re there, make a day of it. Stop in for lunch at Nashoba Tech’s award-winning The Elegant Chef and shop for Nashoba Tech products, including sweatshirts, caps and other items of clothing, as well as other items, at the Viking Village Mall.

Both The Elegant Chef and the Viking Village Mall are open Tuesday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

And if you forgot to bring money, The Lowell Five Bank has a branch between the Viking Village Mall and Cosmo Cuts, and across the hall from The Elegant Chef. The bank is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and there is a drive-through ATM at the end of Nashoba Tech’s driveway.

As always, Nashoba Tech is a member of the Military Community Covenants Policy, through which current and former military members and their families receive discounted goods and services.
