A car flipped earlier today, March 6, landing on its roof and prompting the driver to be air lifted to a Boston Hospital, according to Westford Police Captain Ron Paulauskas.

The automobile appeared to be heading south on Depot Street “when it failed to negotiate the curve in the road at Burbeck Way,” stated Paulauskas.

The rollover trapped the male driver inside the vehicle. Paulauskas didn’t provide the victim’s name or age.

The driver was freed from the car by members of the Westford Fire Department. He was conscious and talking, said Paulauskas. He was taken to an unspecified Boston Hospital.
