A group of Westford middle schoolers visited the State House on June 5 for MassCUE’s Education Evolution showcase, allowing teams of students from all over the commonwealth to present projects on which they have been working.

The group from Westford’s Stony Brook School had a “Back to the Future” project, where they were asked the question – If you could give anyone the gift of time who would it be? Addie Chandler chose to give that time to her grandfather who had died before she was born, so he could be around to enjoy his grandchildren.

Lauren Treible gave time to the first responders on 9/11 so they could save more lives.

Arav Jain gifted time to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to continue his work, and Gerald Hsin gave his to the Boston Bruins – and received a letter back from Bruins President Cam Neely.
