Organizers for the Ride for Liv/Run for Liv, this week, are finalizing preparations for the family fun day taking place on Sunday, July 14 at the 4-H Fairgrounds, 55 South Chelmsford Road, Westford. Start times vary. (See below).
The event is offering a 5K run/walk and three bike rides of different lengths. Here are the details:

Begun in 2011, the event features a:
• 5K run or walk – starts at 11 a.m.
• 6-mile family ride – starts at 11 a.m.
• 23-mile timed bike ride – starts at 10 a.m.
• 50-mile timed bike ride – starts at 8:30 a.m.
The 50-mile ride, taking bicyclists to Chelmsford, Concord, Carlisle, Dunstable, Groton and Acton, was new last year.
All participants and their family members will be given a complementary BBQ lunch and ice cream.
