Tax or Fee; Stormwater Management Mandate Forces a Decision
Selectmen voted unanimously on Aug. 27 to implement a stormwater fee structure effective July 1, 2020, with non profit organizations being assessed a fee on July 1, 2021. The fee will remain fixed for the next three years.
Selectmen Waive Permit Fees for Remodeling of LaCoste’s Home
At the request of resident Nancy Cook, selectmen also voted unanimously to waive all permit fees for the remodeling of the LaCoste home on Oak Hill Road. Robinson School Principal Kevin LaCoste suffered a serious injury and will need a more accessible house, Cook said.
Farmers Market Extended to Sept. 24
Selectmen voted unanimously to extend the Farmers Market by four weeks. Instead of ending on Aug. 27, the market will continue through Tuesday, Sept 24 at the town Common from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
