A full day of education about health and exercise will bring a festive spirit to Stony Brook School on Saturday, Sept. 28. The Health and Wellness Fair will start at 9 a.m. and end at noon. There will be blood pressure screenings, health screenings, acupuncture, raffles, and prizes among some 30 information booths.
Meanwhile, outside the building, two fun runs will take place. The first will take runners on a trail beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the second will take another group of runners on the school’s track at 10:30 a.m.
The Family Fun Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a variety of carnival games and activities including a virtual reality experience hosted by WestfordCAT. Piefest — always a popular event at the festival – will land a pie on the face of nominated community leaders.
The festival will also include many food trucks such as Eggroll Café, Augusta’s Chicken, Auntie’s Sweet Shop and more. For more information, residents can visit the WestFest website.
