One-year old, Hope, is a long-haired calico who has a penchant to play, but on her own terms.

“(Hope is) very beautiful, but with that, she does have a lot of personality to her too,” explains the Lowell Humane Society’s Adoption Counselor, Erin Milligan. “She is looking for a cat savvy, active family who likes to play just as much as she does. She is not for ‘every cat home.’ She likes attention; she likes to sit on your lap, but she likes to do everything her way.”

Hope was brought to the shelter when her family moved and the new landlord did not want any more pets in the home. She is available now for adoption at the lowellhumanesociety.org.
